WB PERM-A-BARRIER Primer is a water-based primer that creates an assertive, somewhat raised appearance on the treated surface. It was designed specifically to support PERM-A-tenacious BARRIER's attachment
PERM-A-BARRIER WB Primer can be used at 25 F (-4 C) or above. It will freeze at 21 F (-7 C) and can no longer be used after it freezes. It's made to help PERM-A-BARRIER Flashings, PERM-A-BARRIER Detail Membranes, and PERM-A-BARRIER Wall Coating adhere to a variety of surfaces, like glass-mat facing plasterboard cladding.
The VOC (volatile organic compound) content is 10 g/L, which meets the Volatile Organic Composite Emissions Targets for Architectural Coatings set by the US Environmental Protection Agency. VOC concentration in architectural paints is regulated by structural and architectural maintenance rules. Frost, filth, grease, oil, and other impurities must be removed from all surfaces. If considerable dust is not removed, the membrane's adherence may be damaged.
