Acryl-R SM5504 is ideal for narrow corner joints and screw heads, waterproofing rivet seams and roof nails, sealing gutters, sealing vehicle bodies, cab construction, underbody compartments, roofing, and sealing front and rear spoilers, auto trim, moldings, body seams and weld joints. It also seals corner moldings, fabricated roof-lap seams, bumper assemblies and body-to-cab joints in minimotor homes.

After solvent release, this sealant exhibits a tough ductile mass that fulfills the sealant requirements of window, door, recreational vehicle, cargo trailer and manufactured home details.

Acryl-R SM5504 is not recommended for use on frost-bearing surfaces or when the temperature is below 40°F (4.6°C), on joints that will be subjected to continuous water immersion, joints contaminated with silicone type cutting or fabricating oils, as a sealant on polycarbonate or acrylic surfaces when in tension, on polystyrene or foam insulation, and dynamic expansion joints.
