AQUAFIN-1K is a waterproof cement-based polymer-modified coating. When combined with water, it creates a thick, stiff surface barrier
It is made up of Portland cement, high-quality quartz sand, and polymer-enhanced chemical additives. AQUAFIN-1K is both waterproof and vapor permeable (it allows the concrete to "breathe"). Prior to painting or coating, the material should be cleansed with a firm, dry brush. After 3 days, vapor permeable, alkali resistant paints can be applied if the AQUAFIN treatment is dry. After 3 days, tile mortars can be applied. It can be applied to moist concrete or substrate. It is non-flammable, no odor and non toxic.
