Engineered to deliver the substrate with excellent adhesion, the GCP S100 sealant is a single-component silicone sealant with neutral curing and ultra-low modulus properties that prevents the damage of sensitive surfaces.
The GCP S100 formulation chemically reacts with the moisture content in the atmosphere and thereby, forms a flexible and reliable building sealant. Also, it comprises a considerable amount of Volatile Organic Compounds. The GCP S100 Sealant is a versatile adhesive that is used for a variety of substrates including overlaps and edges of patches in detailed areas, sealings between air and window flanges, construction substrates such as concrete, wood, metal, PVC, and many more. The most important usage of it includes its variety of usage with weather barrier systems and Grace air. Furthermore, it doesn't require any prior coating of the primer and is hence easily applicable.
GCP S100 is used for sealing of finished terminations, edges of patches and overlaps in detail areas. It is also used for sealing penetrations through GCP air and weather barrier systems, such as plumbing or ductwork. And as a sheathing joint treatment for GCP fluid-applied air and weather barrier membranes. It may also be used for sealing between window flanges and the air and weather barrier system.
