Emecole 455 Odor Free Surface Seal is a hybrid adhesive that is formulated to function especially in odor sensitive environments
It has a fast cure time of 8-15 minutes that helps in covering cracks in a short period of time efficiently and with minimum wastage. The sealant is used for bonding, sealing, and repairing a wide range of properly prepared substrates which include- difficult-to-adhere-to plastics, metals and concrete. The adhesive has high tensile strength and is a two-part curing system that is resistant to elevated temperatures, moisture, fuels, and most solvents and chemicals. It is best used to seal surfaces and short cracks as it dries quickly. It can also be used as a blowhole repair material and a fast-setting port adhesive. While cleaning areas that contain the adhesive, it should be done with a moisture-free solvent, most effectively methylene chloride followed by MIBK. Other solvents such as mineral spirits or DOP can also be used for the same.
