DOWSIL 790 10oz

The DOWSIL 790 Silicone Building Sealant has a highly adhesive quality which ensures unprime adhesion to surfaces such as masonry.  An easy-to-apply sealant, it adheres to expansion joints, curtainwall joints, EIFS (Exterior Insulation and Finish Systems) and more. It has a tack-free time of one hour which enhances the jobsite efficiency. This sealant meets ASTM requirements of D 2202 and C 679. With high tensile properties, it is suitable to be applied over newly constructed surfaces as well as for remedial application purposes. A perfect solution to effective sealing of expansion and control joints, the DOWSIL 790 Building Sealant has a working time of 10 to 20 minutes. For full adhesion and joints the cure time is 14-21 days. An easy-to-use sealant, it meets ASTM specification requirements such as Grade NS, Class 100/50, etc. It is recommended to not use this sealant for structural application purposes. It is also advised to not use it over substrates such as bass and/or copper. This sealant is stored in a clean and dry place for longer use.
